VACUNA (#40) Continued: We got our first shot of the Pfizer vaccine this morning at Parque Zeferino, not far from our house. We arrived at 6:00 am and were out by 9:45. Things went smoothly, Cathy, had done her research and we were well prepared. It really helps that Cathy can speak Spanish. Everyone was friendly, and complimented her on her Spanish. As always, I was very proud of my wife.
I had no side effects. I didn’t even scream when they stuck that BIG LONG needle in my arm. Cathy is having some side effects, fatigue, headache, chills. This is common for someone who has had Covid, like we believe Cathy had in November. Since she never left the house, we never could figure how she got it. One theory was that I had Covid, was asymptomatic, and passed it on to her. Since I had no side effects, I’m now off the hook.
