FLOWERS! (#22). Finally, Miguel was just here! Would you like fresh flowers delivered to your home? Cathy started buying flowers from Miguel when we lived in our yellow house. Just like she always does, she made friends and practiced her Spanish. Miguel is married and has two adorable children. His little girl has epilepsy and her medicine is expensive.
We haven’t seen Miguel since early December and were worried he or his family had Covid-19. Cathy had his cell phone number and called after the first of the year. He had taken a fall and broken his arm. He is healed now and back to work! A big bunch of fresh cut flowers delivered to your door for only $200 pesos.
Miguel also sells potted flowers for the season and outdoor pillows and cushions. just tell him what you want and he’ll bring it the next week!
Two years ago, when Cathy spent a month in Boulder getting the family home ready for sale, I really didn’t need the flowers, but bought them anyway because I couldn’t disappoint Miguel. Each week I bought the flowers and gave them to neighbors. Our neighbors, Pachi and Kay Lynne, liked the idea, started buying flowers, and still do. If one of us is out the other takes delivery. John and Robyn Cole also started buying flowers from Miguel, but they have since returned to the States.
Deliveries are usually on Saturday, so you can have fresh cut flowers for the weekend. Just message me and we can give you Miguel’s phone number. If you don’t speak Spanish, Cathy can arrange for the first delivery. This is your chance to help a good, hard working man and his family and receive something beautiful in return.
