GOODBYE DALI Part 8: Have You Ever Been to Spain? (#91C):
In advance of our trip to Spain, Eleanor Morse contacted a friend in Figueres, Pascual Pesudo. Pascual was a good friend of Salvador Dali’s photographer, Meliton Casals (Meli) and arranged for us to spent a lot of time with Meli. Meli had an exhibit of his photographs at the Dali Museum, opening in February 1987.
On October 7th Pascual set a meeting for Bill and Hazel Hough and me with the Mayor of Figueres, Maria Lorca, and then we had dinner at the Hotel Ampurdan.
On Monday, October 8th, Pascual arranged a full day with visits to the Dali Museum in Figueres, Dali’s House in Port Lligat, Cadaqués, the Great Masturbator Rock, an d Meli’s Gallery.
Interesting to learn that Pascual is a good friend of Awilda and Brian Harrington.
